Dr. Gail Whitaker


Dr. Gail Whitaker is CEO of Whitaker & Associates, llc. With more than 25 years of senior management experience, she has worked as a strategic leader for nonprofits and in senior leadership positions in the areas of business management and information technology. As a consultant, she is experienced in team building and improving stakeholder engagement.

Dr. Whitaker spent a significant amount of time in higher education where she successfully oversaw the development of degree and certificate programs, and curriculum. In addition, she was intricately involved in faculty management and external rankings. Dr. Whitaker has established herself as a highly sought after consultant in the areas of program accreditation, having been directly involved in the successful accreditation of business, public administration, healthcare management, and doctoral programs. Her higher education experience spans the breadth of both online and group campus institutions and includes previous positions as Dean of the School of Business, Dean of College of Business and Management, and Dean of Doctoral Studies.

Dr. Whitaker has held many senior level positions including Managing Director of SEED School of Maryland, Chief Technology Officer for National Council of La Raza, and Director of IT for National Board of Professional Teaching Standards, just to name a few. Dr. Whitaker earned a BS in Business Administration. She holds three Master’s degrees; an MS in IT, another in Labor Studies, and a third in Christian Studies with a focus on Christian Leadership. Dr. Whitaker's two doctorate degrees are in Technology and IS, and Organizational Process Management.
